Offer of our restaurant

In our offer there is a 3-4 course meal variation, and a vide variety of Smorgasbord, in which the traditional Hungarian cuisine is supplemented by modern, light and vegeterian dishes.

Our offer for the 3-4 course meal:

-         Chicken breast with salad and dried fruits
-         Bouillon with noodle
-         Grilled pork with garlic, potato dumplings and steamed cabbage
-         Mixed strudel

Smorgasbord variation:

-         Cold fish with spinach and tangerine shrimp cocktail
-         Chicken ragout with lemon and tarragon
-         Potato soup with leek and bacon
-         Sour cream and cottage cheese drumplings
-         Potato vegetable with marjoram and baked „debreceni”
-         Wellington tenderloin with steamed vegetables with butter
-         Lamb with green beans and potato with parsley
-         Pickled chicken with garlic and vegetables
-         Dessert buffet
-         Salad Bar
-         Fruit plate

There is possibility of a Mediterranean dinner with Mediterranean music, dishes and beverages on demand.
Menu for the Mediterranean dinner (with Italian, Spanish, French and Greek dishes):
-         Mozzarella con pommodoro (Mozzarella cheese with tomato)
-         Quiche lorraine (Cold Greek fruit soup)
-         Sopa de pimenton (Soup of fish, potato, and green pepper)
-         Merluza cosquera (Cod with garlic, steamed with parsley, peas, twine and egg)
-        Patatas y judias a la extremena (Potato steamed with garlic, green beans, tomato and green pepper)
-        Poulet vauclusienne (Steamed chicken with bacon, parsley, white wine, black olives and eggplant)
-         Riz piemontaise (Rice cooked in Bouillon with parmesan and mushrooms)
-         Brasato di manzo alla lombarda (Beef with vegetables steamed in red wine)
-         Zuccini fritti
-         Gyros pin pita
-         Bugatsa (Pie with semolina)

In warm summer nights, we offer grill dinner with candle light in the Hotel’s park, near the fountain, when the chefs prepare the meals in front of our Guests. Live music on demand.

Menu for the grill dinner:

Our event which is called „ Wine and gastronomy” broadens the range. We prepare 5-8 course dishes and introduce the wines in form of banquet.

Menu for the Villányi dinner:

-         Mozzarella with salad of cherry tomatoes and basil and olives (Sauvignon Blanc)
-         Canelloni stuffed with spinach and ricotta (Pécsi Cirfandli)
-         Seelachs fillet baked in herb crust with hollandaise sauce, rice, and broccoli with almond

           (Villányi Rosé)
-         Roast goose with Mediterranean red pepper and homemade „dödölle” (Villányi Siller)
-         Joint with cep, mush with thyme and vegetables (Villányi couvée)
-         Foretaste of cheese (Pinot Noir)
-         Mascarpone with vanilla cream, honey and caramel with raspberry and chocolate (Aranyhárs)

In the Hotel’s swimming pool area there is opportunity for a Roman Party after 8pm. We serve typical dishes of the Roman Era, the guests wear chiton and they can use the 29 degree Centigrade swimming pool, the spa bath, sauna, steam bath, and whirlpool (till 4pm the day after) without stint. Karaoke, disco and the performance of the bellydancer -and the dancing team called Euro Dance (Pécs) has a show with gladiators-, provide the entertainment.

Menu for the Roman Party

-         Cold trotters with dill-horseradish
-         Soup of pig with marrow dumplings
-         Skewered pig with vegetables
-        Duck with honey and fig, dried fruits and cabbage
-         Spicy chicken baked in furnace, with potato with rosemary
-        Veal liver with garlic and herbs, with strudel with vegetables and cabbage
-       Stuffed fruits with honey and nut, with dark chocolate syrup

For an evening programme we offer “Pálinka” tasting, where we introduce our guests to the traditional Hungarian consumption of the water of life.
 
We take on the organisation of salon or corporate events in other locations
